I've been using the 1200 baud PASSWORD modem for a few months now, and
have yet to have a problem (reliability-wise).

One oddness I've noticied is that if I try to dial-up to a system
accross the country, the connection doesn't last very long.  I loose
carrier.  I don't know if it's the modem or the lines between here and
there, though.

Any guesses?
