Lines: 22 Xref: watmath net.micro.mac:466 net.micro.apple:1605 .... For the past year I have been in the habit of automatically dumping certain newsgroups to read at home. (This involves a rather complicated procedure that dumps the news at 4 in the morning, reformats it for nroff (with headers and bullet lists) and then prints it out along with a table of contents and a permuted index). However, neither I nor the printer room staff appreciate dumping 40 or 50 pages of compressed (or worse yet, uncompressed) mac hex code every night. Someone has created net.sources.mac. PLEASE USE IT! That way those of us who want mac code, but don't have the time to peruse the net.micro.mac and net.micro.apple, can get it at our leisure, and everyone should be a little happier. Many Thanks, Kee Hinckley ...decvax!wanginst!apollo!nazgul *** No I don't have a mac, I'm just aquiring software in anticipation of having one. *** *** Re: Availability of dump software. It's written in the Apollo shell language but uses Unix utilities. If anyone wants to translate it I'll post it. ***
