I consider the second alternative to be as important as the first. Will there be transmission time for single user-to-user mail? Assuming there is not, I think that some sort of mail service will have to be integrated into the STARGATE system. The rest of you out there are lucky I mail most of my replies directly to the author, rather than posting for all. It reduces the clutter.
