Please.  If you're going to point somebody "new" at the stargate
issues, please also point them at the voluminous numbers of old
articles that most sites have probably collected by now on this
topic.  It's somewhat distressing to see people say,

"I'm new to this discussion, so why not this and that..."

when those exact same issues (and possibly the same misconceptions)
have been covered again and again in earlier messages.  I realize
that many sites will have flushed the older messages, but to the
extent that they are still online, please encourage people to read
over the back messages before starting to contribute their thoughts
on this topic.  Thanks.
