[A thousand pardons for posting again.]

If the net DOES happen to fold up, people could STILL set up
private mailboxes which just echo unscreened mail (Like some
of the arpa-net apparently lists do).  Surely announcement of
the existance of such a mailbox could be announced over stargate.
(Or other appropriate means).

Just a thought.
