From the experience of two people close to me : 1)brother-in-law, whose work causes him to remove his ring, which he sometimes forgets to put back on right away, reported that when he was in bars, women paid much more attention to him when ringless. 2)wife, after our marriage, noted that men, even our old friends, seemed more aloof.
