Just a note from out here in the cold cruel working world (ok, cue in
the violins) where the fraction of singles is lower than on campuses....

I'd be REAL lonely if I didn't have friends who were halves of couples
and besides as (Nemo???) observes, the other half of the couple is
frequently a real neat individual....
