I don't expect this to excite many people, though. However, I did like the interaction between the two main characters in Starcrossed better than in Starman. In Starman, the female character seems to be there mostly as a foil for the alien - she isn't very strong herself. Whereas in Starcrossed, it was the (alien) female who had the special powers, and some strength of character.
