Fans of old TV shows in the L.A. area should especially check out KDOC-TV (56) [majority owned by Pat Boone, no less] which runs lots and lots of that old "wholesome" programming -- from "Peter Gunn" to "Our Miss Brooks." People with cable might want to check out "CBN" (Christian Broadcasting Network). While most of their programming is typical religious material (about which I won't comment) they fill out their schedule with lots of old TV shows, including a really nice "block" of old comedy programs that run back to back for hours during weekday evenings. They rotate various programs through the block, including "Jack Benny," "Burns and Allen," "Love That Bob," "Dobie Gillis," (which I'm watching right now), and many more. Many of these old programs stand up superbly well, especially in comparison with the pablum to be found on network television today. --Lauren--
