Apparently there are no interlocks to avoid sequencing problems; each process just grabs whatever comes along asynchronously. If you leave enough time between messages (as delivered to BRL) you can avoid the problem, but it isn't clear at this point what "enough time" really is. So be warned that sequences of messages may appear in random order if sent to BRL over a short period of time. --Lauren--
