I'm getting lots of mail from people who would very much like to
move this whole ATT/UNIX discussion somewhere else.  I agree.
This all started when somebody started asking about yacc and is 
now dominating this list.

Agree.  We have "notes" to have us to skip through non-interesting
stuff but i do feel sorry for those who have not.
