The Apple press releas issued after the Apple annual stockholders' meeting
on january 23 is now in <info-mac>PRESSRELEASE.JAN23

A transcript of the Compuserve conference with Apple employees is also
in <info-mac>conference.jan23

At the stockholders' meeting, apple announced the laser printer and Appletalk,
their local area network. The Lisa 2/10 is being renamed Macintosh XL and
the Lisa 2 and 2/5 are being phased out. New price for 512K macintosh is
 $2795 with the 512K upgrade lowered to $700
Andy Hertzfeld also demonstrated his Application switcher which will
become an Apple product sometime in the spring.
