BINHEX doesn't complain (save that none seem to have a checksum), but the applications blow up every time even though it determines that they're MacWrite, etc. I used FTP and then MacTerminal 1.1 with MODEM on a -20 to download the files. I use XMODEM protocol with OTHER and RETAIN LINE BREAKS. By the way, what's the difference between HCX and HEX format? Thanks for any info. -------
