However, the floppies seem to not be formatted and all of my attempts to get the Vax to do so have failed. I have tried under Unix 4.2bsd with rxformat, except it seems to have no clue that the console is a floppy disk, VMS doesn't seem to have a program to do the job, and DEC's Diagnostics also seem to be unable to cope with someone who wants to format the console media.
