As long as the subject of floppies is up:

I've been using a uVAX-I lately, which comes with two double-sided
5.25inch drives. I've only been able to use Digital disks in these drives,
other disks (regardless of brand or single/double sideedness) just
won't format with the initialize command. Does DEC do something to
their diskettes?
