I haven't yet had an oil leak problem in our 79 diesel rabbit.
Our problem is water leaking from between the head and cylinders.
The head gasket has been replaced three times in the last 17,000
miles, and the damned thing still leaks.  The last time I had a
shop do it, and they also mic'ed the head and pronounced it perfectly
flat.  (Within tolerance.)  Less than 3 months later it was leaking
again.  Anyone else have this problem?  Any and all information
would be appriciated.  (The car has 68,000 miles on it.)
