Message-ID: <279@terak.UUCP> Date: Tue, 22-Jan-85 15:37:59 EST Article-I.D.: terak.279 Posted: Tue Jan 22 15:37:59 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 25-Jan-85 09:48:20 EST Distribution: net Organization: Terak Corporation, Scottsdale, AZ, USA Lines: 21 [---- OK, listen up, I'm only gonna say this once ----] It appears that I owe the net members an apology. None of the many postings (and bits of mail) regarding the fly-vs-drive issue actually addressed the topic that I thought that I was discussing. To a person, the responses indicate that the writer thought that I was claiming that it isn't reasonable to fly a light plane on any real kind of cross-country trip. Obviously I did a ghastly poor job of outlining my original position, since NOBODY understood what I said. (The alternative possibility, that I'm OK and the rest of you net people can't read plain English, is more appealing to ME but doesn't seem very likely :-) So I hereby apologize for having gotten everyone worked up over a non-issue. I'll attempt to restate the original issue in another, longer posting. If anyone is left who cares. -- Doug Pardee -- Terak Corp. -- !{hao,ihnp4,decvax}!noao!terak!doug
