Even worse is that some business software only allows a 2 character wide field for the date. Perhaps the designers did not expect their program to be in use in the year 2000 but I would not be suprised to see a considerable amount of 370 code running in the year 2000. Just think that in a few years you will be able to refer to the year 2002 as aught-two! By the way the Websters Thesaurus also lists ought as an alternate spelling to aught.
