  I've been trying to install the new vnews posted to mod.sources. There is
a function called "tailpath" missing in the distribution so you'll have to
extract it from funcs2.c in 2.10.2.
  After I compiled vnews,  I executed afbuild to create the artfile from the
history file. After several minutes running, it aborted in a call to read()
in readrec() which returned 0.
  I added a line count so that I'll know what was it reading from the history
file when the error happens and it's happening always at a particular line
in the history file. I don't see anyhing wrong in that line and I wonder if
this has happpened to somebody else.
