Carolina, Columbia Lines: 23 I picked up a comics magazine at the grocery today (didn't buy it, just picked it up) and saw something that startled me as much as the Baker/Reagan switch in Washington. I haven't seen it mentioned on the net, so: John Byrne is taking over the Incredible Hulk and giving Alpha Flight to Bill Mantlo! This strikes me as quite bizarre, and somewhat dissapointing. As I think I have mentioned before, I like AF, and am not sure Mantlo can do it justice (my impression of him is that he is a good, competent writer but seldom has that extra spark). The article said the switch will take place during an upcoming AF/Hulk crossover; the authors will cross over at the same time. (The story will also bring the Hulk back to Earth). until I switch..
