I was reading the latest Marvel Age editorial by Jim Scuzbucket and it was like heaven. This guy was talking about how Marvel had overplayed the hype about Secret Wars, how Marvel's letters pages were filled with dumb, cutesy answers and trivial "question of the month"'s, and many other opinions that seemed to mirrior everything that's been said on this network concerning Marvel's shortcomings. I thought to myself "Is this guy the house critic?" That's when I got to the end of the letter and the real editorial began. Ole Jim's comments defended Marvel in a manner that made George Bush look like a real wimp! ["But he IS a wimp."] I finished the editorial but couldn't go on to read the rest of the mag. It had accidentally been torn to shreds. The person who had written the letter was Allen(i think) Hall of Norwood MA. If your out there, Mr. Hall, thank you for that excellent letter. As for M. Age, now I can save an extra 35 cents a month.
