I'm planning a trip to Holland in a couple of months. I have a VISA credit card and would like to know 1) Is it widely accepted in Europe? 2) Are their any advantages to using it over currency? How and when is the exhange rate calculated for credit card purchases? Is the rate consistent and fair, or is it better just to exchange your own cash for their currency? 3) Or, is it better to use traveller's checks? In short, what is the method by which to spend your money in Europe (Holland in particular)? Help is appreciated. Mail to ihnp4!cbscc!pmd. Thanks. -- Paul Dubuc cbscc!pmd
