Cheer up, the Bible doesn't proscribe bestiality for everyone, just for
Jews.  It's for the same reason it proscribes eating omnivores and
carnivores and scavengers; the same reason it proscribes cross-breeding
different species of animals; the same reason it proscribes eating a
kid cooked in its mother's milk:  Jews are supposed to be specially holy
(and therefore not supposed to do ugly things).  People who don't want
to live up to such tiresomely aesthetic standards have an easy option:
don't be Jewish.
