Unfortunately, all too true.  Do you condemn all for the sins of the
few?  Or even the many?

Is it possible to love your little girl while disapproving of her
going poo-poo in the middle of the living room carpet?  Is is possible
to love your teen-age son after he has stolen electronic equipment
form a local high school?  Is it possible to love the person but not
love the behavior?
