Co., Inc., Everett, WA Lines: 26 *** RELINE THIS MESS WITH YOUR AGE PLEASE *** How in the bloody HELL can potato chips cost so much? I just spent 40 US cents on a 1 ounce package of Frito-Lay Ruffles Brand Bar-B-Q flavored Potato Chips and an equal amount for 1 and 1/4 ounces of Crunchy Chee-Tos. Well, there were exactly 8 chips that I would call full-sized (approx. 5 cm diameter) and a bunch of potato-chip rubble that MIGHT have amounted to another 4. So big deal! 40 cents for 12 chips == 3.3 cents a lousy wafer. Same story with the Chee-Tos. There were probably 35 respectable sized ones (average length 4.0 cm) and a bunch of Chee-To rubble that may have brought the entire package up to a solid 40. So these are only a penny each, the fact remains that a Chee-To probably contains more BHA than it does milk solids and cheese combined. GRRRR! 80 cents for a lousy 350 calories!! -- Gary Benson m/s232e -*- John Fluke Mfg Co Box C9090 -*- Everett WA 98206 USA {microsoft,allegra,ssc-vax,sun,sb1}{decvax,ihnp4,tektronix!uw-beaver}!fluke!inc -_-_-_-andthewordsoftheprophetswerewrittenonthesubwaywalls,tenementhalls-_-_-_-
