I worked with Gary for a while and he's just about the nicest person I've met. If this keeps up, we'll lose all of the worthwhile netters. Something needs to be done about this sort of thing (i.e. hate mail), but in the anarchic universe of USENET, I can't imagine what it would be. "Sargentizing" the offenders may be a possibility.
