Does anyone know of the existence of any performance
reviews of the Drake TR5 transceiver?  I have long
considered buying one, and since it appears the R.L.
Drake Co. is going out of the ham radio business, it
looks like its now or never.  I have not, however,
been able to find any info on the radio's performance.

Any pointers to reviews in the literature or personal
accounts from users/owners would be appreciated.  Please
respond via the net.  Thanks
