               UNIX CONSULTING JOBS IN NEW JERSEY

        I am a UNIX consultant at an AT&T entity  in  NJ  and  my
company  as  well  as  others  are  looking for UNIX people for a
variety  of  positions  in  software  development   in   a   UNIX
environment.   Of  course UNIX Internals people are in especially
high demand as are communications people.  In fact  any  seasoned
software  person  would probably interest a consulting firm.  The
emphasis of consulting firms are to supply computer professionals
who  can  come  into  a  new  environment  and be productive in a
minimal amount of time.

        Most of the currently available assignments are  in  AT&T
Bell  Labs type environments.  The salaries are high although the
job security is lower  than  that  of  permanent  employees.   If
anyone  is  interested in this type of work, feel free to send me
your resume and I will forward it on to  the  recruiters  at  the
firms that I know.
