We are a system software house that develops operating systems and language translators for Motorola (6809 and 68000 family) microprocessors. Current products include: - a UNIX-like operating system (OS-9) that runs on the 6809 and 68000 processors; major features include: a small (approximately 12K) completely ROMable kernel, UNIX-like directory structure, full multiuser/multitasking support, and real-time performance - an advanced BASIC language system (BASIC09) that includes its own line oriented text editor, debugger, and executive (for both the 6809 and 68000) - a native-code C compiler for the 6809 and 68000, and numerous cross-compilers from various hosts (including VAXen running System V or BSD 4.2) to the 6809 and 68000 - a COBOL compiler for the 6809 - a PASCAL compiler for the 6809 One of the available positions is to assist with device driver work and installations of OS-9 on new machines. The second position is in the recently formed Quality Assurance Department and will help generate test programs for a variety of Microware products.
