(Both a 3com unibus controller, the thing 4.2 calls "ec0", and a 3com etherbox connected to a Perkin-Elmer). It all seems to work fine. That is, it appears to me (from experience using it, without looking at any fine print anywhere) that 3com controllers (if you can still get them, but that's another matter) connect to H4000's.
