I have posted a new version of the game of life to net.sources.mac.

This version of LIFE differs from Bill Atkinson's version in two ways: 1)
it wraps around & 2) it allows 3 different densities [128x72, 256x144 &
512x288].  If anyone thinks they have an algorithm that is faster, I would
enjoy hearing about it (but first prove that it is faster than my 246,000 
cells/sec!).
