I thought so at first but examination of the sources showed it was the same version 1.1 that came out a couple of months ago. The main trick to using version 1.1 is to know that Kermit *thinks* it knows what speed you are running at but it really doesn't. In fact, it seems to forget where it was set. The key to using it is to select the configuration menu, wait until the disk stops spinning, click down and release on the 1200 button (assuming you want to run at 1200), make sure that the disk spins again and then exit. If the disk spins again, this means that MacKermit is reinitializing its idea of how fast the line is and that things will go well from then on. --Rick
