I've used one of these cards for more than a year and have been VERY pleased with its performance. Although it is true the setup procedures you do the FIRST (and in most cases last) time are not very simple they aren't all that difficult either. The card supports many color modes. I use the board in 640 x 400 x 16 colors with DR HALO and it looks great (get a good monitor as well - PGS is a fine one).
