The only thing that comes to mind right now is a twelve minute classically
influenced piece released in 1969 by Deep Purple on their "Deep Purple" lp,
their third lp, on Tetragrammaton (I think). That lp may be available as an
import in the US. "April" is also on LP Purple Passages, a compilation of their
first three lps (Shades of Deep Purple, Book of Taliesyn, and Deep Purple).
"Deep Purple" and "Purple Passages" sound a bit different from their more heavy
metal music and are more "psychedelic".
