Recent info-music mail says that Capitol got the Revolver tapes
early (and, as I noticed earlier, 3 cuts from them went onto U.S.
"Yesterday & Today" LP).  I wouldn't be surprised if someone in
Capitol said "Oh my gosh..." or words similar in noticing how
different Beatles music was becoming, given that I've heard of
problems encountered by the Beach Boys when Pet Sounds LP and
succeeding records marked a departure from car and surf songs.
