How can my knowledge be "praised by millions" unless I post a reply to the
whole net?  :-)  Seriously, The Eagles' bassist was Randy Meisner.  I didn't
know he had a (new) solo album out...

Speaking of the Eagles, did anyone see last Friday's (repeat of) Miami Vice?
Glenn Frey played a pilot who flys people to Colombia so they can buy cocaine.
He was pretty funny, especially when Crockett and Tubbs (the two main cops of
the show) first find him -- Jamming on his guitar in his plane hangar.  I
thought he did a pretty good job in his acting debut...

Speaking of the Eagles again, does anyone else out there like either/both
of Don Henley's solo albums?  I think they're both very good.  I read an
interview of him in last Sunday's Chicago Tribune.  He says "We're [the Eagles]
all speaking to each other again."  But, he goes on to say "I'm certainly
not comparing us to the Beatles, but I understand their reasons for not
wanting to get back together."  He also told the Trib. that they were
offered "$2 million or $3 million to get back together for the last US
Festival."  So, I suppose things look bad for an Eagles get-together in
the near future (although, I'm not sure that's all bad).  I especially
liked his comment that "I don't see any harm in doing social commentary
as long as you can dance to it."
