This is an area of sufficiently broad interest (no matter where you
stand, you've got to admit it's a fundamental change in the nature
of the net) that someone should have thought to say something in one
of the more widely read lists long ago.  I don't think anyone set
out to keep it a secret, I just think nobody thought of it.
