However, I am surprised that net.pers (net.personal) is not one of them. Perhaps we could remove a lot of broadcast garbage from the other groups by creating this one. It would be an international "personals" column. The "Joe Smith from Indiana '78 where are you?" articles could go there. It would probably be read widely for the same reasons that personals columns are. One rule would be - no business allowed in this newsgroup. We might find that the other groups cleared up if there was someplace to go.
