We are cuurently in a bind for disk space, and will soon be purchasing some more drives. What I am looking for is anyone who has any experiences with or comments regarding using an EMULEX CS7000 controller with either a CDC 9771 or CDC 9715-500 disk drive. I would like to get any facts, feelings, rumors, vague disturbances in the force :-), etc. that would prove useful to us in making up our minds. We are not a site that is licensed for source distribution, so if any fancy patching is needed to make these drives work, we need to know about it soon. We don't have BSD 4.2 yet, so there is always some chance to have our copy patched before we get it from Mt. Xinu.
