We're looking for diving, snorkeling, > Hi Topher--Congratulations! Try the British Virgin Islands. My family spent I'll second Virgin Gorda as a great place. We were only there two days, but it seemed very nice. We chartered a bare boat and hit several of the Islands. Virgin Gorda is small though, not a lot of development. However, there is a water taxi which runs among the local islands but I am not sure it runs to Virgin Gorda. The taxi/ferry would be a great way to visit some of the other islands such as St. Johns (in the US VI, a national park is there). Some of the islands also have camping facilities if you are interested in saving money. Also, if you like him, several of Jimmy Buffet's songs are set down there such as Cane Garden Bay. Warning: Avoid St. Thomas like the plague! It is overrun by tourists and geared for the large cruise ships which pass through. -- Mike Eve Boeing Aerospace, Seattle ...uw-beaver!ssc-vax!ssc-bee!eve
