Yesterday, I posted an article describing a propaganda program on 
the Chicago Evangelical Christian TV station.  The program was
directed against Mormons and their practices.  Needless to say
that the program was very intolerant of another religion.  Yet,
this is not the worst case of religious intolerance that the
Chicago area can offer.

There is a phone number to which you can call and listen to
"Bible Prophecy Update".  What you really get is a virulent
anti-Catholic propaganda.  The phone number is:
    (312)-541-6797  (try it)

Let me give you some examples of the "information" disseminated by the
above phone line:

1.  The Roman Catholic Church is responsible for the American
    Civil War.

2.  The then Pope conspired and is responsible for the assassination
    of Abraham Lincoln.  The reason - Lincoln was a born again
    Christian!

3.  The Pope conspired together with Castro to assassinate John
    Kennedy.

4.  Castro is a Jesuit priest working for the Pope.

The Roman Catholic church has committed many atrocities through the
ages (and I am not trying to defend it) yet, to accuse the church of
the above actions is another matter.  These are obviously vicious,  
malicious and deceptive proclamations.  Their sole intention is to
incite the population against the Roman Catholic Church and those
who deal with the church.

[Incidentally, the Roman Catholic church is described as a place of
devils. it is also referred to as the Whore of Babylon]
