Wait a sec...I didn't see the original posting on this but from the
colonel quoted that other person doesn't understand the place of the individual
in Christianity. (Did Rosen write it??  :-)   Only kidding Rich)

Yes the individual is responsible for its own sins and to atone for them
either in this or the next life.

But this does NOT mean that we can never please God. Indeed God loves and
delights in all His creatures (even Rosen and myself).  That is one reason
the Son was sacrificed.

Our sins offend God and our good works please Him.

Gee...Easy when you believe.
Impenetrable when you don't.
