I care about what *GOD* *in fact* prohibits. yes, I'm aware of the bit about "if you are with a brother who doesn't believe in eating meat offered to idols, then you shouldn't either." I believe it means that you shouldn't eat that meat *in the presense of* that brother, not that you can't ever eat it.
