The problem is not when the amount of time needed is a mismatch--
it's if (total time) - (time YOU need together) - (time for required
for others) < (time SO requires alone)
Basically then you are down to "how much will the two (or more)
of you compromise for the other" if this is the case...
P.
(there may be more terms in this equation, ok? I'll do the
systems engineering next week...)
