First, there is the general attraction to the woman. I see her, but I've not yet approached her. She may or may not see me. The following does not hold true for all the woman I've met and liked, but as I try to think of exactly what is going thru my mind when I'm about to encounter her here's what I come up with.... If I've heard the woman speaking, I guess I'm attracted first by the voice (the way one speaks gives a lot of clues as to the personality and demeanor of the person). My second inclinaton is to look at the face. Since the face will be the part of her that I will look at most often if a relationship eventually evolves, it is probably the most important of all the physical attributes. Third comes the rest of the body. Personally I'm a leg man, but generally I think I look at the whole picture before making the conscious (sub-conscious?) decision that I'm interested in her. Second part: If it's obvious that we are going to be introduced to each other or are going to introduce ourselves I'll look at the face and into the eyes. At that point, even if I'm interested physically, there's no point in looking anywhere else. The eyes tell it all as far as I'm concerned and hopefully the eye contact will be for more than 3 pico-seconds, though in most cases that is wishful thinking. jeffw !decvax!cca!ima!ism780!jeffw
