This is my last posting on the subject.  I do not wish to be accused
of being the pot calling the kettle black.  Are those of you telling 
us how rotten we are, how inhumane we are, etc, practicing what you 
are preaching?  We (and I use we to mean anybody who feels as I do) 
are people too - you may feel we're the dregs of humanity, but we're not.  
We have gotten as tired and as outraged at the perpetual postings of JS 
almost as much as you have gotten at our postings.

The thing is that the majority of postings about net.singles.js
have not been cruel.  If one person is responsible for most of
the postings then one person gets most of the "blame".  Most of the
people responding have simply commented that they too are tired of
the same thing all the time.  Since they spend the time to read this 
group, don't they get to express their opinion?  Not everyone has an 'n' key. 

I don't think anyone really wants a net.singles.js.  But like the other
groups that were started from an argument of "I'm seeing too many
articles about classical music - give them their own group", to "we
need a group where we don't have to argue (supposedly) our beliefs"
(like net.motss, net.religion.[c j], net.women.only), net.singles.js
was proposed to make others aware of the problem.

   I hope to GLOS that next time you feel rotten about yourself you go
   to a group of people, and they sit and dissect why you feel rotten, tell
   you to go feel rotten, and generally make rotten little oyu feel just as
   welcome as you've made Jeff feel.

Jeff:  I am very sorry.  I know I would feel like crawling under a rock if 
       I had a lot of people telling me that they wished my postings would 
       stop.  Or maybe I would think seriously about changing my postings 
       or my audience.
       
       Wasn't this the risk you took when you discussed these things
       on a public medium like the net?  I mean, you really have to
       beware of the Ken Ardnts, John Williams, and Beth Mazurs
       of the world.  We can't all be Chuquis.
