I responded to the virginity survey. Unfortunately, I absent-mindedly typed "f" rather than "r", so my response got posted as an article. Horrified by this error, I canceled the thing within a minute or two; but it still, to my infinite annoyance (more bogus software), got to some of our other systems at PUCC (one of our Unix gurus tells me that cancel messages sometimes precede their articles in transit between machines); if it got out to the world, I apologize. I had NO intention of telling the entire net my answers to that survey! As the late Shah of Iran said when once asked (after the revolution) if he would ever return to his native country, "I may be many things, but I am not stupid!"
