Statistics Lines: 15 It has been announce that the Commissioner's Office has reached agreement with the Braves and Yankees on sharing revenue from superstation broadcasts for the next five years. Both will contribute about $0.22 per cable viewer per year to a fund which will be equally divided among all major league teams. Negotiations with the Cubs and Mets are still continuing. For the Braves, this comes to $6 million per year, which is, if I recall correctly, about 40% of their cable revenue. While I would have liked to see even more of the cable revenues go into this joint fund, I applaud the Ueberroth for having reached such a constructive agreement so quickly. I hope the Cubs and Mets will soon agree to similar deals with the Commisioner. David Rubin
