Well, its OFFICIAL now, laying to rest any doubt...(assuming any
remained)

Entertainment Tonight 01/29/85 said, in their lead story, that
contract squabbles between William Shatner and Paramount had
been resolved, and that he has signed on with ALL the Enterprise
crew for "Star Trek IV" which will begin filming this Fall for
a likely SUmmer 86 release.

Thought everyone would like to know...
