In response to questions about Hill Street Blues:

Faye is alledgedly molested by her dentist while under anasthetic.  She helps
a 70 year rape victim.  The hispanic rapist is freed because he was read his
rights in English only. The character played by Mimi Kuszyk traps the rapist in
to speaking in English.  He resists arrest, pulls a gun, and Mimi shoots him in
the genitals while trying to hit him in the leg.  Lucy says to her, "Sometimes
you get lucky."

Bobbie Hill helps bust a lone shark.

Belker, J.D., and Washington bust a gang of crooked garbagemen who are
disposing of the bodies of murder victims.

Peres returns after psychotherapy for shooting the 5 year boy who was
brandishing a toy gun.  He pays an arsonist to set a fire and he rescues a
family from the flames.  His plot is discovered and he goes further over the
brink of sanity.  (Poor guy.  It would have been nice if he could have made
good.  Oh well, that's life.)

Joyce has accepted a job offer to become a district attorney @ $44K/yr.

Renko, Goldblum, and Hunter run for a position (I can't remember the title)
which involves mediation between the beat cops and management.  Renko wins.

That's all I can think of right now.  I watch HSB every week.  I tape it for
my roomates who frequently can't stay up to watch it.  So I see it twice
